A first session, start to finish.
Five steps. Each one is something you do on purpose, and each one can be undone.
Sign in on the web
Initrix works in any modern browser, on a laptop or a phone. Your account belongs to an organization. Everything you connect or keep is filed under that organization, and you can switch between them.
Connect a computer
Go to Compute → Fleet → Connect computer on the machine you want to use. Download the small Initrix program, check its fingerprint, and run it as your normal user. It shows a short code. Paste the code into the website, check the name and organization, and approve it. Then confirm in the terminal.
Both sides have to agree, so a code on its own cannot connect anything. Codes expire after ten minutes.
Share a folder
On that computer, pick the folder you want to work in. Approve it on the website. Initrix makes a private copy to work on and leaves the original folder alone. Files that look like passwords or keys, and generated folders like node_modules, are left out and listed so you can see what was skipped.
Ask for work in Lab
Open a project, start a conversation, and say what you want done. The request is saved first. It runs on the computer you picked, only after you have said yes to running there. While it runs you can watch from another browser or your phone, and stop it at any time.
If the computer is not ready, the request says so and waits. Initrix never fills in an answer it did not get.
Keep what works
Results come back to the conversation. When something is worth keeping, register it as a Program. Programs have a page of their own, with a clear record of where they run and who can touch them.
What Initrix does not do
- It does not install a background service or start at login.
- It does not ask for admin rights.
- It does not read folders you have not shared.
- It does not change your original files.
- It does not run work while the program on your computer is closed.
- It does not keep a computer connected after you unlink it. Your history stays; the connection stops.
